ARTIST NOTES: This is a "one of a kind" (1/1) handcoloured handcut and printed Linocut of a bunch of Ranunculis. And again of one of my favourite flowers. I was having fun with these doodling and reducing the detail to try to capture their mood. Personally I find these blue and purple stripes particularly exciting. Perhaps I had one of Margaret Preston's early still lifes in mind, I seem to remember a red and white striped tablecloth at the NGV (?)
One of an edition of one, each image being a different colour variant. Printed in black on Arches paper and coloured with Artists Quality Watercolours and Gouaches. This original was printed and coloured in 2014.
